After working with actors Mandy Patinkin and Kathryn Grody, and their son Gideon on their social media presence during the 2020 election, Mandy reached out to ask if I had any pitches to continue collaborating. He was getting newfound interest in projects, but wasn’t used to developing anything himself, and much to my delight, wanted to continue working together.

I came up with a series of pitches, and the one that felt the most potent to all of us was one that kept all of us working together.

The basic concept of Seasoned is that it stars Mandy and Kathryn, playing semi-fictional versions of themselves, as they navigate modernity together. Gideon and I developed the project and wrote a pilot. We sold it to Showtime in 2022, and were picked up to series in 2023 - only to have the whole thing derailed during the dual WGA/SAG-AFTRA strikes. However, we still own the rights and all materials to the show, and are currently shopping it around to find a new home.
